VW Type 2 Bay-Window Camper (1979) Project for sale. £6250ono Daisy is our wonderfully original late-bay camper with 3/4 devon Moonraker popup roof. Currently off the road and in need of some work and finishing. Regrettably due to lack of funds and workspace we sadly have to let her go. No tax or MOT. Work is needed in order to pass an MOT and would ideally suit a full or part restoration but should be straightforward enough to make repairs to enjoy for summer and continue restoration at a later date. Condition overview: Good 1584CC Engine - runs well and will only need a tune. Brakes will fail the MOT and need some simple attention (suspected master cylinder failure). Bodywork in good shape for age apart from usual bottom 6 inches to be repaired. Front arches will need replacing and are beyond repair. Interior: Original Devon walk-through interior complete with 6' Rock n Roll bed, Original Roof Bunks in 3/4 length moon-raker poptop, Buddy Seat, Gas Cooker/Grill and Fridge, Sink with electric water pump, 13amp Electric Hookup point. 12V Electrics/Leisure battery, CD Player and Speakers.
